I work with people of all ages and abilities meeting you where you are. In a lesson we will play with movement sequences to discover your own personal to meet the world as a whole human. It can be fun, challenging and relaxing all at the same time.


Lessons can happen in person in Bellevue Wa or online via Zoom.

Ok so what is Feldenkrais®?

The Feldenkrais® method is a field of movement education to deepen one’s awareness and invites the student to begin to self organize from the ground up. The method invites you to begin to look inside your movement patterns and grooves and journey back to when all movement was new and novel so that you begin to discover new paths in movement which in turn can bring new options and freedom to your life. The method was developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984) in the 1940s and is now practiced worldwide.

What is Awareness Through Movement®?

Awareness Through Movement® are group classes in the Feldenkrais® method that are similar to gentle yoga or Tai Chi. Through slow verbally directed movement with intention you learn how to integrate movement throughout your whole body for a more general ease and joy of movement. The Feldenkrais® movement practice focuses on letting ones own body be the teacher.

So, it’s like yoga or pilates?

Awareness Through Movement® may appear on the surface to be similar to yoga and pilates but are actually quite different. Unlike the other methods there is not a set ideal movement, rather the focus is on the student learning what they are capable of with the body they have often discovering they are more powerful than they realized.
